Up until a week ago when I placed a password on my Word documents, the password protection worked fine. I just noticed that the files I've done this with in the last week will open without the password.
The older files still require the password to open, but the files in the last week do not require it...they just pop right open. I repeatedly try it on each file, but it never works now.
What could be causing this
