Password Saving in Outlook

I've got a clean install of XP Profesional on my notebook. I also
installed Office XP ver 10.2627.2625 on the system but it won't save
my passwords. Every time I restart Outlook I need to retype my
password. I have the very same problem with Outlook Express for my
hotmail account. It does precisely the same. Can anybody help since
this is really an irretation?
