Passwords for email

I am using Outlook 2000 with Windows XP. Outlook will not
remember the passwords to my email accounts and I have to
reenter them every time. Is there a setting that I am
missing?

I know that. But therein lies the problem. The box is
checked but it still doesn't work.

I am haveing the exact same problem with the same

outlook and windows version. I would appreciate any real
help
