Paste in to a word document?

Hi all,
I tried to copy some text earlier from a web page
in to a new word document, but each time I opened the
word document, the paste option would not appear in bold,
so could not be done.
I am using word 2002, should I be able to do this?

Either you did not, in fact, copy the web page text; or what you copied is
not something that can be pasted into Word. (eg, what appeared to be text on
the web page might actually have been an ActiveX control or similar)

Try opening Word before you do the copying. If you have the Works Suite
Add-in, the Clipboard is cleared each time you open Word.
