Pasting graphics in Word 2003

P

Peter Atkins

When I try to paste a graphic into a completed document
(page with header and footer, landscape or portrait) the
baseline of the graphics frame appears where the topline
should be - graphic disappearing into space. I have tried
a text box with the same result. When I print I only have
the baseline plus bottom line of the drawing. If I paste
into a blank word document I have no problem - perfect
graphic import. It seems to be a document setting
problem, which I can't find. I'm stuck and desperately
need help. Is there anybody out there who can please
help? Thanks.

This can happen if the paragraph you're pasting into has exact line spacing.
