pasting to the size and position box, visio 2003

Just installed Visio 2003 professional and on my system I can't copy
and paste to items in the size and position box

When I right click over an entry, I only get the box
dialoge...close,float,autohide,autofit

moving the cursor over an entry or highlighting an entry and right
clicking doesn't yield the dialoge....undo, cut, copy, paste, delete,
select all

is this a bug??? Can't believe that MS cut this ablity along with all
the other things they culled in this edition. It makes the size and
position box useless... and since I copy and paste from it an average
of at least 2 times a minute when I draw (I use Visio for construction
detailing on a full time basis) I will be uninstalling until this is
fixed and go back to Visio Pro 2002

Please let me know if your experience is different and maybe it's just
my system causing the problem

thanks

Actually, even thought the menu items are not available, CTRL-X, CTRL-C and
CTRL-V still work. Not sure why they're not available in the context menu.

Just can't understand why they would eliminate the most convenent way
to paste and copy these values......

When they introduced the floating size and positioning box (in visio
2000, prior to MS) I hated it. Probalby because I had a horrible time
breaking the habit of using the ALT SZ combo to bring it up. But as I
learned to use it, I found tremendous value and it's now to the point
that I can't draw with out it.

"Breaking" it in this matter just makes no sense......

And BTW: does the big green pick loop drive anyone craze but me????

I keep forgetting which one I picked first......

This looks like a bug. Thanks for bringing it up. We did not intend to
change the behavior in this window. I see that the Custom Properties window
has the same issue.

I just installed visio 2003 and have found a similiar problem. When you click right button in the custom properties box you get the close, float, etc. instead of cut, paste(in define properties it doesn't do anything). In visio 2002 you could copy and paste formats into the define custom properties box.

I have also gone back to visio 2002 to avoid having to type in the long formats

This is a limitation in Visio 2003. However, you can still use the keyboard
shortcuts Ctrl-C, Ctrl-P to perform the same actions.
