It you set the slide to transition on mouse click, the user must close the
outlook window to return to return to the presentation. Then they would click
on the slide to proceed. Or, you could add a button to the slide and link it to
Next Slide. The results would be the same.

Appreciate your reply sonia. Can u please elaborate on how I could set the
entire slide to transition on mouse click without writting code. Do u mean to
insert a action button? Can we do it without any buttons?

I'm referring to the setting you make when you go to Slide Show > Slide
Transition. This is done for each slide. I'm not sure how your presentation is
set up, but if the slide with the hyperlink to email is set to advance
automatically after XX seconds, change it to advance "On mouse click" only.

Hi Sonia,
On my slide transition, it is On mouse click by default. I have a action
button on which I have placed a email(hyperlink), when the users click email
outlook opens up but my flash conversion of the PPT presentation is still
going on.

Thnx,

I'm sorry. Can you explain what you mean by "my flash conversion of the PPT
presentation is still going on". If there is a Flash movie running when the
user clicks on the button for email, PowerPoint probably continues to play the
Flash. If so I don't know of how you can pause it. Can you put the email
button on another slide instead?
