pdf to Word

Our organization needs to copy some information from a PDF newsletter into
Word so that we may use it for our own group. Earlier we received their
first PDF draft and I was able to do Copy and Paste right into Word. Now
we have their final version, and trying the same thing, I now cannot do
that. Our group will greatly appreciate help with this. Thanks. (I
have WinXP, Office 2003 with a just downloaded 2007 compatibility pack.)

I realized I should have been more specific - when I said I cannot copy and
paste, it copies, but it pastes squares, not text.

Sounds like they locked down security on the PDF file when they set the
final. Request they provide an unlocked PDF file.

As long as the sender has given copyright permission to use the material
from their newsletter they should also be gracious enough to email their
original text in an easier machine readable format such as Word document or
even just a plain text file that you can insert into Word. If the
permission is there, there is no harm in asking.

Joy. The PDF must be protected by some restrictions. You know, peopl
can set restrictions to prevent readers copying or printing, that's th
so-called owner password
You need to remove the restrictions. Some PDF password removers ar
available. But I think convert the PDF to Word directly is more usefu
to you
You can try 'AnyBizSoft PDF to Word converter
(http://www.anypdftools.com/pdf-to-word.html#163), it supports protecte
PDF conversion. And the output quality is pretty good. Hope i
helps.:wink

Hi Joy,
You cannot copy and paste the contents again because the final PDF
have some restrictions. In this case, there are two ways that may help
you:
1. convert PDF to word directly: I use Adreamsoft PDF to Word
converter and find it works well to convert restricted PDF to
formatted Word documents, so i recommend to you:
http://www.allpdftools.com/pdf-to-word-converter.html Hope you can
love it.
2. Remove PDF restrictions and then you can copy and paste the
contents again:http://www.allpdftools.com/pdf-password-remover.html

Hope that helps...Good Luck~

Thanks to all, I'm saving and printing all these suggestions and will pass
them on to the 'pdf sender'.
