One of our users is also having similar problem, she could not change the
contrast. Later I found out, her login to Windows XP is as a Power User/User
only instead of Administrator. I login as Administrator (or have
Administrator right), I am able to do editing.

My problem is that how can I make my users be able to edit the picture using
Picture Mangaer withour having to give them Administrator rights.

Hi Ferry,

Are the user/profile and computer name the same?

Bob, I tested it and yes it is because of the computer and user (with only
Power User rights) name are the same. Thank you.

Is it by design or Microsoft will issue the fix for this? The way we setup
here is the computer and user name are the same, and we only give user Power
User rights.
