pictures blinking

I have a web page with text and some .jpg and .gif pictures. The page was
originally set up using MS Publisher and then saved as a web page and
imoported into FP 2002.
The page looks fine, except that once loaded, one of the pictures
continuously blinks/flashes.

Anyone know why this would be?

Your page consists of only ~ 6 images each w/ very long alternate rendition text
What you see "flashing" is IE on mouseover of the images representing the alt text
- that's the way IE works (and it was not intended for paragraphs of text)

Remove your long alternative text from the image attributes and for the actual text you want
on your page use plain text
