Pictures disapear!!!!!

Whenever I insert a picture into powerpoint or word they
are there until I scroll or move the object and then they
disappear from view. They are still there and
occationally come back into view partially but what is
causing this to happen. I know it is not RAM issues as I
have 1GB.

Sounds like you need to update your video driver. It might also be as
simple as rebooting your computer.

Be, does the picture view normally when in view slide show mode? If it does
resize the pic before inserting it, make it much smaller if necessary and
resize once inserted. I have acouple that this happens to, it's as if PPT
thinks the picture extends past the slide border in edit view.
