Pictures in notes

When I insert a picture in the notes (while in Notes view) section of PP 2003
it tends to shift position when I return to that slide (usually after I've
saved the slide show and open it again. Is there a way to lock the picture
into position?
Also, can you have text and a picture in the notes section? Thanks.

A picture added to the notes page is just that, added to the notes page, not
the notes textbox. It is added only for that view as a new shape on the
notes page. PowerPoint does not allow the picture to be anchored to the
text, just to the page.

I suspect the pictures movement is caused by your auto layout selections.
Try de-selecting the bottom 3 check boxes in the Tools => Autocorrect
Options => AutoFormat as you type => dialog box. Does this resolve the
moving of the picture?

Thanks. I'll take a look at the autoformatting. What I've tried in the
meantime is to use the Group command to link the image I insert into the
Notes section to the slide (which in Notes, can be selected like an image).
It seems to be working.
