Pictures on the Web.

Hi
We have noticed that people are downloading pictures from
our website and use them in their presentations/portfloli
etc.

Can anyone tell me if there is such a thing that we can
stop people from copying or downloading the
images/pictures. Maybe disable "save picture as" option
or turn the crusor to a sign where it tells people that
they can not download pictures or a copyright option.
if yes what program do I use to do this things or set
these options.
thanks.

There are numerous javascripts available that will disable
the right-click, but they will only stop the casual browser
as javascript is easily defeated using the browser options.
It really doesn't matter as whenever anyone views a webpage,
the webpage(including all pictures) is stored in the cache
(temporary internet files) and seeings it is already there
you can't really do anything about it. Best bet is to
degrade the pictures by using either a lower quality image
or watermark all the images with copyright information

In this case, you seem to know who is doing this. You may
try to contact them (or have your lawyer contact them)
and request that they remove this material.
