Pivot table does not respond when export to excel

Hi,
The excel does not respond when the pivot is exported to excel.

I have got a dimension with nearly 20K members on each level and have 5 such
levels and till the 3rd level the dimension is expanded and
when the pivot is exported to excel, nothing happens for long time and the
cpu is 100%,
can anybody suggest me what is going wrong, is it the numbers of members?

I tried to export with other dimensions and also with the same dimension
with only the first level expanded, all these trials work fine.

please suggest.

this happened to me when I pressed the 'export to excel' button more than
once, as the system tried to activate the excel again and again, which
clutters the memory.
