Placeholder Text

I am creating an MS Publisher template.

How do I save or create "placeholder text?" I want to use this placeholder
text as instructions on how to fill in the template. Thanks

Are you asking if the user selects the text box; the text becomes high-lighted
and disappears when the user starts typing in said text box?
Sorry, Publisher can't do that.

It is hard coded into Publisher templates. I don't know about Word templates.

It's not done with VBA, it's built into the program. The code is not
accessible.
