PLEASE help!

2. Why does outlook express ALWAYS open up if I am at a website and I

try to contact someone via their email contact. Outlook (NOT express)

is set up as my default mail program.

3. When I "send link by email" it sends it as a .url and must be saved

on the hard drive rather than sending the http:// ... so it can be

clicked on.

I have win xp (does the same thing with win 98 on my other system)

outlook 2000.

IE 6.0

1) where is 1?

2) You can change the default program in Control Panel-> Internet Options->
tab Programs

3) This is by design. Orignally a .url file is blocked (Level 1 Security).
You probably downgraded it so you can access it (Level 2 Security). There is
no (native) way to downgrade it so you can open the file directly (Level 3
Security).
