Please plese please help!!!

ok, I am installing office and i can do that bit fine,

Its when I open a program ie word and it brings up the box
saying register, i want to register using the internet but
evrytime i try it says I cant and that there is something
wrong with the communication.

I have been trying for ages...why is it not working?!

I have even removed all the files and re installed it but
IT STILL DOESNT LET ME!!! GRRRRR.

please could anyone give me some advice before i chuck my
computer out of the window?!

Hi, Katie,

You don't mention what version of Office you're using...but if Internet
activation isn't working, you should try to use the Telephone method of
activation and let the operator assist you.

its version 2002, i dont really want to use the phoe, im
a student and the only phone i have in halls is my mobile
and i cant afford to be on the phone for ages!

so, has anyone else had this continued problem? Is the
only remedy to phone?

The telephone number supplied is an 800 number - so there is no charge to
you. Also, if it is important to use Office, surely the cost of using the
phone is as important as chatting with your friends, no?
