Please tell me why I can't open my documents in Powerpoint or Wor.

I can't open any of my documents. Please tell me why this is happening.
I've been sure that they are saved as ppt. documents but nothing is working.
Your help is appreciated.

What version of PowerPoint?
Can you open the program at all?
Do you get any errors, if so what do they say?
How does the program behave (please be explicit since we can not see what
you see on your screen)?
Is this a new problem?
What has changed since you could open them?

Go to the file which you want to open.
Right click on that file & Select open with
Select the program like Powerpoint to open the file.

OR

Save the file on a floppy and try to open it on another system.
Error might be due to system problem.

What Bill said, and ...

If you are using PowerPoint 2003, start it up and go immediately to the
Help menu and choose Check for Updates. Follow the instructions to
install Service Pack 1.
