pop up blocker problem

Alan

I am using Frontpage 2002 and have a 'standard' button I am using as a link
to an ftp site. unfortunately, pop up blockers keep it from working. I
know I can probably find a different button [can I??] or change it to a
simple text link to address the problem, but the buttons look great and I
would like to keep them if possible.
I would imagine this problem has come up a million times before? Thanks for
any suggestions!

Why can't you assign a simple link to the button? What is stopping you?

This might not be the correct technical answer of why it
doesnt work but here's how I have gotten around the issue
before:

1. Place the button on the page where you want it to show
and preview it in the browser.

2. Press the Print Screen button on the key board.

3. Past it into Photoshop or other graphics program as a
new image

4. Go back to your browser and place your mouse on the
edge of the button (enough to make it change states)

5. Press Print Screen again (the mouse will not show up
in the screen capture)

6. Paste that into your same image as a new layer.

7. Crop the image leaving appx 5 pixels all the way
around.

save each layer out as a jpg and you have 2 buttons sized
the same. Import and assign the appropiate link and DHTML
for image swapping.

Good Luck,
