Pop Ups in Outlook Scheduling

Hi There,

We are having a problem with pop ups that appear when you hover the
mouse over an appointment that already exists for a user in the
scheduling window. We are running Outlook 2002 SP3 and Exchange 2003.

Say I would like to schedule a meeting with user1, user2 and user3. I
go into the calendar and open a new meeting request and then go onto
the scheduling page where I add user1, user2, and user3 as required.
Their existing appointments are currently coloured in and so I can see
where they are booked. My existing appointments are also coloured in.
When I hover over my appointments, a little pop up appears telling me
what this appointment is. (I have the option turned on in Calendar
Options -> Planner Options to allow pop ups to be displayed! This
option either turns on or off the pop ups for my view in scheduling.)

When I hover over user1 and user2 appointments no pop ups are
displayed. That is fine. That is what we want. (Their meetings are
not set as private)..

When I hover over user3 appointments pop ups are displayed. There is
some setting in his mailbox that is allowing these pop ups to be
displayed for everyone. We do not want this. I have checked the
permissions on his mailbox and they are the same as on mine, user1 and
user2, yet when scheduling, no one can see pop ups for our mailbox. It
is only happening for user3.

Does someone have a solution to this?

Thanks in advance.
