POP3 Settings change on startup

Hi,

When I open outlook, the settings have changed. The POP3
address is added to my username, seperated by a slash. The
POP3 address is changed to Localuser. after I change them
back, they work fine until I restart my computer again. I
am using Windows XP home and Office XP

Any ideas?

Sounds like your antivirus software is doing something funky...check with
the manufacturer of the AV software. Or, you have some other sort of
software loaded that is trying to act as a proxy....antispam stuff?
