I use a POP3 e-mail account and check it from Outlook 2003, my wi-fi enabled PocketPC, as well as one or two web site front-ends. Even though I do not delete e-mails from anywhere but Outlook 2003, many times it gets confused and re-downloads all the e-mail on the server, even if there is only one new e-mail message. That forces me to then modify my e-mail settings to I can delete the duplicates without removing them from the server. Then, modify the e-mail settings back again to delete from the server after deleting from the deleted folders setting, etc. Is there any way to avoid this problem? Or others having the same issue
I would prefer to be able to delete e-mails from any access location besides Outlook 2003 and have it sync properly. But I cannot even just read e-mails from other locations without confusing Outlook
