Positioning of Catalog Merge Areas

Gotta love the Publisher Catalog Merge Wizard!
However, how do you evenly space out the catalog merge areas

For example, when I set up my merge area, Publisher tells me that I can fit 4 areas on a given page. When I do the merge, I get the 4 areas, but they are all close together and there is ample room on the bottom of the page that I could have used to space out the merged areas

Is there a setting for determining how much space is placed between the generated Catalog Merge Areas

Resize the catalog merge area to leave some blank space at the bottom?
That's what comes to mind here...

You can manually change the size of the merge boxes to anything you want.

Why do you have to rely on damn dumb Wizards.

Learn to use the program properly!!!

You can move and resize the merge boxes. You can add merge boxes or delete
them. The default 4 is just a starting point.
