Possible File Corruption

Hello,

In regards to my last posting on 29 May, I was wondering if by creating a
new resource pool and attaching that to the existing projects with resources
from the possibly corrupt resource pool will affect the hours/units already
entered for each task in each project?? Can I just attach the new resource
pool with the EXACT SAME resources without having to re-enter all resource
names and hours/units for each task????

I have over 100 projects sharing the Resource Pool which is corrupt at the
moment.

Could someone please help me?

Hi

If all your projects are sharing the one resource pool file, then it is
possible to 'repoint' the resources in each of your files to the new resource
pool file.

This will break the links between the project files and the corrupted
resource pool file, and recreate the links to resources to the new resource
pool. Just follow the usual process to share resources, but select the new
resource pool file.
