Power Point 2002

Please help...with my Power Point...when i click on the
INSERT menu...i get a drop down menu...both the SYMBOL
and HYPERLINK are not bold or highlighted.....therefore
if i need to use those options i cannot..

Hi Anita,

did you highlight *anything* on your slide? If your cursor is not placed in
a placeholder, a textbox, an autoform, etc. - how shall PowerPoint "know"
where to insert a symbol or a hyperlink? Click on the object where you want
to insert one of them and then try again.
