The version Windows is less likely to be the culprit than the version of
PowerPoint (which is part of the Office suite). What version do you
have? What version do the receivers have? Does the "problem" receiver
have PowerPoint at all?

Does the person who can't open the PowerPoint presentation HAVE PowerPoint?
windows XP is the operating system for the computer. Office XP is the suite
of programs that includes PowerPoint.

If the person does not have PowerPoint, they need the viewer. See the link
below:

Hope this helps,

This was answered earlier. All the answers pointed out that Windows is
the Operating System, and it does not necessarily include PowerPoint.
The receiver might not have the PowerPoint application (that comes with
many versions of the Office software). The receiver can buy PowerPoint,
buy an Office package that includes PowerPoint, download the free
PowerPoint viewer (some of the earlier responses had links to that), or
go over to your house with a six-pack of beer to see the presentation.
