PowerPoint 2002 will not allow changes to the default file size f.

When I try to increase the default setting for linking or embedding a sound
file it always wants to link to the file and not embed it with the
presentation.
Any help would be appreciated.

What type of sound? Only WAV files can be embedded. All other sound
files will be linked, no matter what the setting.

The only thing that can be imbedded are wav files. All others (including
movies) are linked.

Question answered.
I was trying to use a MP3 versus a WAV file.
MP3 is 996KB, where as the WAV file is 10,996KB.
