powerpoint 2003 hangs

Hi,
I have office 2003, but I can´t use powerpoint. Whenever I open the program
and try to do something, the program stops responding. This happens only with
powerpoint. The others programs are working.

Thanks,

M

Michael Koerner

Hve you done a Detect and Repair? Also have you applied SP1?

I'm grasping for straws now. Sometimes if you have an Anti Virus running on
some machines causes problems with PowerPoint also turning down your
Hardware Acceleration, is known to help.

Hopefully someone else will jump in. with soime suggestions. The fact that
all the other programs in your Office 2003 suite work OK, that you have
uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2003, applied all Service Packs and still
PowerPoint does not work baffels me. What Operating system are you using?

I'm really fishing here. In your initial post you say that you can't do
anything in PowerPoint What are you trying to do? Have you tried opening
other powerpoint presentations?
