PowerPoint 2003: Joining boxes

I have to do a box that has four smaller boxes in it. How do I join the
boxes so they look like one box

Oceanmist,
Difficult to say what you mean by boxes. But if these are just rectangles or
squares you drew using the drawing materials, select all the boxes, click on
draw button on the drawing toolbar and choose, group. If necessary you can
line them up using align and distribute which can be found in the same
place.

Try also switching on the drawing grid. (View | Grids and Guides) Your boxes
can then snap to the lines.
