One of my co-work was at a conference and using her laptop and she told
me the PowerPoint 2007 was really slow going one one slide to another.
Then I try it when she got back and it work fine.

I did all the update from Microsoft.

Is there anything else I should do?
Thanks

I have a similar issue in that launching the presentation while
connected WiFi causes a 30sec-1min delay even though the file is
stored locally. Then exiting the presentation takes even longer. By
turning off the WiFi response returns to normal. Is there any
features or plug-ins that require network resources? I chekced and
the processor never got above 20% and ram is only utilizing 25%. The
hard drive doesn't appear to be getting much activity after a burst of
initial activity. We have another computer with identical setup that
doesn't appear to have the same issue.

Brian, was your co-worker on WiFi when presenting before, and not when
you tested at the office?

Steve, could PP be looking for updates or doing something else in the
background on the network, but only doing so when launching the
presentation. All other actions seem to go smoothly. This even
occurs when testing with a blank presentation.
