Powerpoint Animation with No Order

Zane

Hi,
I have Powerpoint 2003 and I am tring to create a slide with a number
of text boxes on that disappear when I click on them. However the
problem lies in the fact that I need to click on them in a random
order each time I do the presentation. For example I would select
1,3,2 in one presentation and maybe 2,3,1 in another. I cannot find
the option get around the timings or ordering does anyone know how to
do this? Is it possible even in VBA code?

Thanks,

Zane

This is easily accomplished using VBA, but you might be able to get away
with using "triggers". basically you trigger an animation by clicking on an
object. It is accessed using the same Custom Animation task pane, but is
sort of cleverly hidden. Set your animation you want for your object, click
the dropdown arrow for that animation, select "Effect Options", and on the
"Timing" TAB click the "Triggers" button to select which object to trigger
this animation on.
