Powerpoint Backgrounds

I recently downloaded the new PowerPoint backgrounds from
mactopia.com. However, I want to change the background color on them.
When I go to color scheme, I change the background color but nothing
occurs on the slide...no matter what I do. If you have had any
experience with this, please tell me what to do,

Alex,

How are the backgrounds made?

If they contain background images (bitmaps), then changing the background
color will have no effect.

You need to get the images out of powerpoint...color them...then insert them
back in.
