POWERPOINT ERROR MESSAGE

When I try to load PowerPoint 2003, I get an error
message: "Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 Setup

Setup has detected an incomplete Windows XP
Service/Pack installation on your computer. Office will
not run properly until this u0pdate has been completed.

Visit Windows Update
(http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com) to dowload and
install the latest Service Pack."

I went to the website, it checked my PC and then said it
dowloaded. I still cannot load PowerPoint 2003 on my PC.

Can someone help me?
