Powerpoint - how to fixed the color selection in Font Colour Palette

There is a number of colours in the Font Colour icon. I don't know
what is the correct name for these. For convenience, I just call it
Font Colour Palette.

When I choose "More Colours", those existing colours in the Palette
randomly got replaced by the colour I choose in "More Colours". Is
there a way to fix those colours in the Palette ?

Otherwise, is there a way to tell which colour in the Palette is to be
replace by the colour choose in "More Colours" ?
