powerpoint in slide show mode should allow extention over two scr.

I am using two digit. projectors in a classroom setting. They are connected
to one computer with two video cards. I need powerpoint template(s) that
is/are double width (7.5x20") and such running mode that the slide show would
sextend over both screens (or monitors). I need this to run in Windows XP as
well as Mac OX because of the technology available.
I find it surprising that nobody needs to show more info that what can fit
on one screen?!
