How do I set up a letter size, two-sided, landscape, two fold marketing
brochure in POWERPOINT?

Many people use PowerPoint as "Publisher-lite". It is not designed to do
publishing work and does not have templates for print-out formats. You
would be far better off to use a product better suited for this purpose.

Having said that, I can tell you to take a piece of paper and fold it the
way you want. Label the panels and then open the page up. Use this to
build your layout one slide for each side of the paper. You may need to
adjust the orientation via File | Page set-up ... | Slide orientation.

Keep in mind that PowerPoint uses the print area of a piece of paper in your
printer differently than Publisher. PowerPoint will center the slide in the
printable area, while Publisher will position objects based on the paper
size. You will have a difficult time lining it all up, but it can be done.
