Powerpoint NOOB needs help with sound :(

I am just learning to use PowerPoint and I need to want sound to my
presentation. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

Can PowerPoint do any better animations or am I stuck with what it comes with.

Insert > Movies or Sound. Choose Sound from File or Clip Organizer.

To add sound: Insert - Video and Sound - Sound from file.

Animations: Which version of PowerPoint do you use? There's a lot of
animations which come with PowerPoint 2002 and 2003 - and you can combine
them. What else do you need?
