Powerpoint Templates in Publisher

Is there any way to import a powerpoint template into publisher. We
frequently create PP presentations and corresponding tri-fold brochures. It
would be great to have them look the same. All I need is the background
design.

If that can't be done, is there any easy way to copy an entire publisher
project, in this case a two page trifold to two pages in powerpoint.

Thanks,

You can save the PowerPoint background, is that what you want? Right-click the
slide, click save background.

In Publisher, Edit, select all, copy, paste into PowerPoint.

Mary,

Thanks for this help, but I am still having a problem. When I copy the info
into Powerpoint, it does not go on the slide I have open (with a background
on it). It seems to disappear.

When I copy the powerpoint background into publisher, it is saved as a
picture. is there a way to place in a template, as a background, and still
use the template from a text and graphics point-of-view?

Thanks

I personally don't use PowerPoint, I do know when I save a PowerPoint background
it saves as a .jpg and then I can insert it into a Publisher document. One way
is to insert the image on the Master page (ctrl+m).
