PowerPoint to PDF Link issues with slide master

I'm trying to convert a 2007 or 2003 PowerPoint to PDF with hyperlinks that
are put on the slide master. These don't appear as links on the PDF unless
the link is on the pages themselves and not the master slide. Is there a way
to get it to work when the link is on the slide master?
