You can only download a trial version of Office 2003, which includes
PowerPoint. http://www.microsoft.com/office/trial/default.mspx I believe the
trial software works for 30 days. After that, you must purchase Office or
PowerPoint if you want PowerPoint.
Depending where you purchase it, some places may let you download the file
while you're waiting for the installation CDs to be delivered, I don't know.
You need CDs in case any of the Microsoft updates prompt you for them.
