PPT 2003: Lost timing feature in Custom Animation?

J

Joyce Wycoff

I have just started using PowerPoint 2003 and it looks
like a feature is gone. I was able to time the
appearance of objects on a slide by setting the number of
seconds after the previous object's appearance. It looks
like there are a lot more possibilities for effects now
but I can no longer set that timing.

Am I just missing it somewhere? Thanks for any help.

Joyce,

What specific effects are you using so we can have a look. I'm sure there
has been nothing that should have changed in that regard since 2002.

Joyce,
Right click on the effect (animation) for the object and select "timing"
from that menu. Should let you do what you need. (You can also reach the
same information by selecting "options" from the same menu and clicking the
timing tab.)
