Predecessors and Linking

We have a master plan and have inserted 6 project plans. We are trying to
get a snapshot of tasks and their predecessors across all projects. Question
is: If you have a task and want to set a predecessor, what is the setting
when you want task A be dependant on task B at midpoint in the duration?? We
tried FF-50% and having issues.

Personally I would use BSS+50% as the predecessor for task "A". However,
you don't say exactly what the "issues" are. Can you give us a little
more information.
