Bullet Point Presentation

I have a slide with 5 bullets. I want to present this with an arrow pointing
to each bullet as if each on a different slide. Do i need 5 slides with 5
different arrows stepping through this or is there a better way. i want the
presentation to look like only one slide; not 5

Assuming you have at least XP you could add the five arrows and then have
custom animation like this:

arrow 1 appear (on click)
arrow1 disappear (on click)
arrow 2 appear (with previous)
arrow2 disappear (on click)
arrow 3 appear (with previous)
etc
