Preserving hyperlinks

This is driving me crazy. Am I being dim? I create a publisher document
which has several logos with hyperlinks. First of all why can't I access
"screen tip" as I need this for each hyperlink, and second, why oh why when
I save the document as a gif which is then inserted into a web page do all
the hyperlink disappear??

not sure if Maggie is being serious here (I presume it is Margaret but she
has an unusual spelling of her name), or not. It seems a bit odd that you can
put a hyperlink into a document but not a screen tip since as she quite
rightly says you wouldn't print a document. Besides, as she would know if
using Publisher 2003 you can save publisher documents (perhaps we should call
them files) as GIFs or Jpegs. Front Page seems perfectly happy with either
and they display beautifuly but the hyperlinks vanish.

Don't worry about her. Her name is Sarah and she drops in every once in a
while to dump some of her bile on some unfortunate poster. You win!

Not sure I can answer your question, but obviously when you save as a GIF,
the hyperlinks are destroyed. Can't you insert hyperlinks again after you
put it into FrontPage?

If he were using FP yes; by linking to the image itself or map hotspots on
the gif, but where did FP come in?

Maybe I read the message wrong, but here is the OPs last sentence:

"Front Page seems perfectly happy with either
and they display beautifuly but the hyperlinks vanish"
