Preventing Direct Access

Is there a way in Fronpage 2003 to prevent direct access to a page from a web
browser. That is I would like a database results page to be accessible only
through a specific page. I do not want a browser to be able to enter the url
of the results page directly into there address window. Is this possible?

Send a variable from the required page and check for the variable on the receiving page
