print envelopes

I am unable to print envelopes on XEROX Document Center printers DC425,
DC432, and DC430. No matter how the orientation is set in the printer
control panels, Publisher 2003 changes the settings to 8.5x11 and prints the
envelope across 3 separate envelopes oriented incorrectly.

This problem only occurs in Publisher 2003. Envelopes print correctly in
Publisher 2002 (XP) version. We just upgraded to Publisher 2003.

This is a printer setup issue. Publisher does not arbitrarily change the printer
driver setup. Are you setting up your printer first? Are you using the envelope file
developed in Publisher 2002? Have you checked to see if the printer is setup
correctly before you print? Could be your original file was setup to use another
printer and not the one you are using.

Thanks for the information. I tried the latest printer drivers but it didn't
work at first. I tried using the original file created in Pub2002 and a new
one created in Pub2003, but neither worked. However, in my last attempt,
Publisher crashed completely. When I restarted Publisher2003, the envelopes
began printing!!!, but upside down. I rebooted again, doublechecked the
driver settings (which showed that we had the mailbox attachment....I
unchecked it and then and tried again....and it printed right side up!
