I am using a fax server to fax snp files. This requires
the fax software to 'print' snp files to it's own printer
driver in order to recognise it.
In order to achieve this the server needs snapshot viewer
installed so that it can be printed. The fax software
then sends a print command as if a user had right clicked
on the snp file and clicked print. This is no problem and
all seems to be ok, except snapshot viewer asks what
printer to be used. This causes a need for user
intervention in what *should* be an automated process!
There is only one printer driver installed on the pc in
question (and as such, it is the default). When you right
click a Word doc and click print it goes straight to the
printer!
I'm not sure if this is a problem with snapshot viewer, or
the dde commands send to snapshot from the shell?
OS - Windows 2000,
Access Ver - xp
Any Ideas?? TIA
Regards,
Ollie
