Print Layout Insertion of a Visio object appears weird

I am viewing my word doc in print layout, and I do Insert/Object/Visio
object

when I insert it, the object is all funky and 1/2 there. The only time I
can actually see it is in reading layout. Is there a setting I have to set
to make it viewable in print layout?
