ANNETTEELLENBERGER <[email protected]> was
very recently heard to utter:
<shouting snipped>

Publications are not individually collated and stapled when you use the mail
merge
feature to print to a duplex printer in Publisher 2003 or in Publisher 2002
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=891904

KATMA's registry fix will fix this:

Open registry using regedit.exe

Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\<Publisher
Version>\Publisher\Printing

Create new "string value" called:
NumberOfRecordsPerBatch

Double click and set the value to 1

I can create a script file to do this for you if you can tell me what
version of Publisher you are using - as you are not experienced with editing
the registry, I would not suggest doing so yourself without supervision.

Hi

The Publisher 2003 version is 5.1.2600.
Please help me understanding this correctly. Will creating this script file
allow the printing of individual publications when using mail merge. The
merges sometime consist of over 500 records. Printing one record at a time
would not be a solution in these cases.

Thanks, again

The attached script (if you can't view it as an attachment, it's also
available at http://ed.mvps.org/20031Rec.reg) will modify Publisher so that
instead of grouping records together into groups of 10 to send to the
printer, they are sent in groups of 1 (i.e. each document is sent
separately).

Mr Bennet,

I won't be able to put this to the test until Monday, but I wanted to thank
you very much for your help. It sounds like it is going to take away a major
headache for me. Thanks.
