Print Margins

Jim Watkins

Hi. I am a newbie with Publisher. My problem is that
part of my design (on the right side) fails to print,
although it is apparently within the dotted pink lines
that I understand indicate the appropriate print
margins. I have compared the locations of these dotted
pink lines with the print margin info in the HP Users
Guide for the 932C, and they appear to be correctly
placed. I am using Windows XP, Publisher 2002, and a HP
Deskjet 932C.

Have you updated your printer driver?
Is your publication portrait or landscape?
Does your document print if you lower the quality?
How close are objects to the edge of the page?

Jim the dotted pink lines mean nothing and can be user set.

Draw two diagonal lines that extend off the page and print that, and it will
show you what the printable area of you printer is.

Normally the margins on an inkjet will be a minimum of 8mm or 5/16" and can
be as much as 16mm or 5/8".
